By reading the game details, I somehow get the feeling classes are bit like soma.

Yeah maybe it will be abit like soma class style, watched the interview with one of the game developers and he says its all based on your skills. rather that a set character (mage, warrior ect ect). Im not too keen on first person games tho myself :/.

ye its all skill based, even no lvls if i understood correct.

what im worried about it botting/macroing to get skills up, and ganging thats gonna go on, as ya drop all ur items if ya die (if i understood it correct, didnt read that much)

It's first person view only.

You can get insurance for your items lost, only if you pay for it in advance.

Skill based game, like UO, be whatever the hell you want to be. Usually it's not that stressfull gaming, cause after a while, everyone has his skills maxed and it's all about the gaming experience. (sandbox games)

Man.. sounds like UO, which I loved. I just wish it looked better and was 3rd person!

nope there isnt and no plans for it
A: Mortal Online is a first-person MMORPG in an open player-controlled fantasy game world for the PC. Player versus Player (PvP), or rather Player to Player interaction plays an important part in Mortal Online as trading, learning, combat, rumors and alliances are largely dependent on communication between players.

Our approach to character creation, character progress and skills are to get away from hours and hours of pointless grinding and quickly immerse you into the community – once there, your real journey begins.

shame as you wont be able to view your crafting items on yourself

I have Quit gaming for good (well while im at her house then).
