Its funny how people have said its closed beta and all therefore there will be a wipe, yadda yadda. This would be the only closed beta in the history of mmorpg's that let everyone who wanted to sign up sign up. If GN do wipe when theres no reason to then they will forever earn themselves the place of biggest idiots who have ever tried to be a company. Which is why I would still have to believe that GN is where all the people who get fired from McDonald's go. Oh well.
The logic behind a wipe is that there is a need for one. If they wipe for no reason, then you'd just have to refer back to what I already said ;o

I have more att, by about 50 than a knuckler 5 lvls higher than me. I have 150 less hp than that knuckler, and of course less dex because I have other stats to raise... defence however is up to how lucky you are on upgrades. A swdman and knuckler can have same def, just depends on their armors. Knucklers also lvl faster because of haste, so meh. Knuckler = bowman equivalent in soma before skill patch.
its not all mining.... to get the flenging you have to mine, but the gold/silver/tin all from scrap metal and the fastest way to get that are from people who hunt robots and get em drop or from people who have 20 from the lvl30 quest. You can get 2 scrap metal from processing 10 iron ore... not that great. Took me nearly 2 hours to just get 10 iron ore and considering it took me about 40 scrap metal to get 5 tin, well its poo. Ancient rock is dropped by a boss mob only. So when it comes down to it the special accessories (if they are all like ring of life) suck.
All it is is the equivalent of a resi in soma... exect you are forced to warp to town. Why would it not be something like 65~100k to repair 1 dura or something because the amount of time spent to get it is just stupid imo.

Server Wipe
The databse wipe has been planned for the following week and will take place on Tuesday or Wednesdsay morning accordingly to when the developers will be able to perform it.
All the data on the database will be reset, but everyone should be able to keep their characters names. We will give more details on monday morning once we get to talk with MGame about this.
During the next few days we will try to let you test the Fortress wars, while the Guild House wars will be part of Phase 2 of the beta testing period.
More news will follow in the next days.
